was established in 1985 to offer environmentally appropriate, cost
effective solutions to waste management and environment pollution
problems.
The company is committed to the science and practice
of good waste management as well as to building capacity through
increased awareness in this field wherever possible.
The company members have extensive experience in Environmental Impact Assessments
and preparing waste management strategies at regional, sub-regional and
local level, as well as for industry. They have facilitated the public
participation processes of many, varied waste management projects
following the South African Integrated Environmental
Management guidelines (set by the Department of Environmental Affairs and
Tourism). These include the development of policies, strategies and
waste systems and facilitating consultative workshops for inputs into
national and provincial waste management policies.
